Everything we shipped in May for DEXT T3: A Complete Roundup!

Hello Traders! :waving_hand:

When we started building DEXT T3, we knew the launch was only the beginning. Our vision was to keep improving the platform every day, constantly raising the bar for what traders can expect from their terminal.

That’s why DEXT T3 has continued to evolve with regular upgrades, thoughtful enhancements, and industry-first features. Some updates bring entirely new capabilities. Others improve the details that shape your experience every time you trade.

May was a mix of both. Alongside powerful new additions, we also focused on refining and strengthening the platform in ways that matter. Here’s a detailed look at everything that shipped on DEXT T3 this month.

Order Flow on DEXT T3 Gets Deeper

We introduced Order Flow on DEXT T3, an industry-first launch, to give you the visibility of real buy and sell conviction inside every candle - built on actual executed trade data, not bid-ask intent. The Buy/Sell split is now a dedicated view inside the widget, which shows aggressive buying and selling volume laid out side by side at every price level inside a candle. Press Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) to activate the magnifying glass and zoom into any candle’s full detail without disturbing your chart view. And clicking any candle now pulls up the complete real-time volume block for that candle, updating live as it builds.

Super Orders Got a Major Upgrade on DEXT T3

If you’ve been using Super Orders, you already know the idea - one order that carries your entry, your target, and your stop loss together. This month, we went much further.

You can now define your entire exit plan right at the moment of placing the order. Within the order entry window itself, choose whether you want a full exit at target or a partial exit - scale out at 50% x 2, 33% x 3, or 25% x 4 - and set your stop loss alongside it. Your trade goes in with the exit already decided.

And if you’re already in a position - one you placed without any exit protection - you don’t have to start over. Open Manage Position, and DEXT T3 now prompts you directly: Cover your risk. Add Target or Stoploss. Add either leg, set a Trail Jump if you want it, and your open position now comes with full exit control - stop loss, target, partial exit - right from where you hold it. The position becomes a Super Order from that point on.

Plan your exit before you enter. Or protect yourself after you’re already in. Both are now possible on DEXT T3.

Power Scalper on DEXT T3

Power Scalper is live on DEXT T3 - spot chart, CE chart, and PE chart together in a single widget, with order placement built directly into the view. If you’re scalping options and need everything in one place without switching panels between a read and an execution, this is built for exactly that. Add it to any layout in your workspace, or load the pre-built Power Scalper layout that comes with Option Chain and OI Graph already arranged alongside it.

Your Layouts are Safe Now on DEXT T3

We have now improved saved layouts! As many of you know, DEXT T3 comes with predefined layouts built for different trading styles - options trading, scalping, positional, and more.

Each predefined layout now shows a thumbnail preview of the actual setup, so you know exactly what you’re switching into before you select it. Pick one that fits how you trade and start from there. When you customise a predefined layout and try to switch away, DEXT T3 now asks you to save your changes as your own layout - because predefined layouts can’t be modified directly. You can create and save up to 10 custom layouts.

For your custom layouts, if Auto Save is enabled, every change you make is saved automatically. Your setup stays exactly the way you left it. If Auto Save is off, DEXT T3 will prompt you to save before switching layouts.

ATM Straddle Chart on DEXT T3

For traders who track straddle premiums through the session, this update is especially for you.

The ATM Straddle Chart plots both the underlying price and the straddle premium together on a single dual-axis chart - the underlying on the left axis, straddle premium on the right. Just select your symbol, and both lines are live. No manual CE + PE addition. No switching between two charts to correlate. Below the chart, it also surfaces ATM IV, IV Change, PCR, Market Lot, Max Pain, and Days to Expiry - everything you’d want alongside the premium view, already there.

If straddle behaviour is part of how you read the market at any point in the session, this is now one clean view for all of it.

Option Chain & OI Graph on DEXT T3

The Option Chain now carries more per contract than before. 15-minute buildup data is available directly within contracts — so you can see how positions are building in shorter intervals without switching views. Each contract now also shows O=H and O=L flags, OI, IV, and volume levels - up to 6 data points visible at once.

Max Pain, Max Support, and Max Resistance levels are now available in both the Option Chain and the OI Graph. Whichever view you’re working in, the key levels are already there on the same screen.

Keyboard Navigation on DEXT T3

Earlier, navigating to a chart, Order Flow, or any widget from your Watchlist required two keystrokes - select, then Enter. That’s now a single arrow key action. Jump directly to Charts, Order Flow, and other modules from Watchlists, Movers, ETFs, Indices, Trending, Portfolio, Positions, Orders, and Super Orders in one keystroke. Enable or disable from Settings.

More May Updates:

  • Price Ladder: Empty price levels can now be hidden for a cleaner view. See only the levels where activity is happening.

  • Time & Sales: Now shows the complete day’s traded data from market open, not just from when you opened the widget. Open it mid-session, and the full picture is already there.

  • Market Discovery: Movers and Trending now support Index, F&O, and Sector filters. Find what you’re tracking without scrolling through everything.

  • Order Book: Buy and Sell now have a dedicated column.

  • Dhan Journal: Now accessible directly within DEXT T3 without switching platforms.

  • OS-Specific Downloads: On the web version, and want the desktop app? DEXT T3 now recommends the right download for your OS directly from the platform.

  • Order Details: Now reflect the actual execution time as well, not just the order creation time.

A lot of what’s in this list came from threads right here on MadeForTrade. Thank you to everyone who flagged, followed up, and kept pushing - that’s exactly how things get fixed.

A lot went into May. Explore what’s new, build a layout that’s actually yours, and if something doesn’t feel right - or something you’ve been asking for still hasn’t landed - tell us below. This is still the room where things get built.

Check this post for some core modular features requested for DEXT T3: My Vision for a "Zero-Restriction" Fully Modular Terminal on DEXT T3

@U.S We have now enabled “pop out widgets” feature in new version (Ver 1.0.10) of DEXT T3. Can you help us with valuable feedback if that helps with ur requirement.

Thanks for the update, @Bhavya_Jain . Enabling pop-out widgets in Version 1.0.10 is definitely a step forward for anyone managing multi-monitor layouts to clear up main screen space.

To give an accurate assessment based on the modular vision post shared earlier, the way layout management currently works on DEXT T3 does solve a big part of the flexibility requirement. Being able to drag widgets by clicking and holding the header titles, resizing them from the top, bottom, or sides, and deleting unwanted blocks before saving the layout gives great control. While it is done through edge-resizing rather than direct corner-dragging, it achieves the core goal, and hopefully, corner controls can be explored in the future.

However, as a Regular trust level user who closely follows the platform’s evolution, it is important to note that the remaining aspects of that “Zero-Restriction” vision are still pending. The ability to completely remove fixed static bars or logos to clear out distractions is still limited, even though updates like hiding empty rows in the Price Ladder show the team is thinking about visibility. Additionally, core tools like the instant live reporting button for technical logs and the integrated community chat are still missing. The community will be testing the stability of these pop-out windows thoroughly under live market conditions, but we look forward to seeing the rest of the modular road map take shape.

it is amazing enabling pop-out feature, but disabled multiple instances of DEXT T3. also maximum 3 charts are allowed in singl single instance. we have to use 6 charts for multiple time frame analysis. also provide some sort of pdf or webpage where we can find all updated features. i am full time trader and now shifted 100% on DEXT T3. please note i am using macos.

waiting for your reply

@Mahavir_Bhardwaj In single chart widget you can have max 8 charts so total of 24 charts u can open with single instance. You need to select the layout from top right corner

In case u still wish to open multiple instance u can add next instance in desktop 2

Thanks for the reply.

You’re absolutely right, but how do I use them on multiple screens? My requirement is to open six different timeframes of the same stock. I was using the six-frame layout but getting an error when saving rectangle markings. Every time after marking I have to select a single-frame layout and then save, which takes a lot of effort.

I was hoping for a pop-out feature and it’s available today but it still doesn’t meet my needs as a demand and supply trader. We need to view the same stock in six different timeframes and perform rectangle marking.

It would be great if you could allow six charts in a single instance.

I’m also unable to create a second instance in the updated version 1.0.10 even on a desktop 2. Please check. When I open a new instance it directs me to the first one.

I’m waiting for your reply.

Thanks
