Feature Suggestion: One-Click Order Execution from Long/Short Projection Tool
Dear Dhan Product Team,
I would like to suggest a highly practical feature that can significantly improve the trading workflow for active intraday and swing traders.
Feature Request
Please introduce a Direct Order Execution button within the Long/Short Projection drawing tool, allowing traders to convert their projected trade setup into a Super Order in one click.
How It Should Work
Currently, many traders use the Long Position / Short Position projection tool on charts to visually plan:
-
Entry price
-
Stop loss
-
Target price
-
Risk-reward ratio
-
Position size estimate
The proposed feature would allow users to:
-
Draw the Long or Short projection
-
Adjust entry, SL, and target visually on chart
-
Click a single “Execute as Super Order” button
-
Automatically create the order with:
-
Entry price
-
Stop loss
-
Target
-
Quantity (optional auto-calculate based on risk)
-
Order type (MIS/CNC/NRML)
-
This should instantly place the trade as a Super Order / Bracket-style order without manually re-entering the same values.
Why This Feature Matters
This will solve a major friction point in execution:
-
Eliminates manual price entry errors
-
Faster execution during breakout or reversal setups
-
Perfect for scalpers and intraday traders
-
Better risk management discipline
-
Makes chart-based trading far more intuitive
-
Bridges planning and execution seamlessly
Expected User Benefit
The Long/Short projection tool is already where traders finalize their trade idea.
Turning this into a one-click executable order ticket would make Dhan one of the most efficient chart trading platforms in India.
This feature can become a major differentiator for serious technical traders who rely heavily on visual execution.
I strongly believe this will improve speed, reduce mistakes, and enhance overall platform stickiness for active users.
Serious users please help in getting this feature from Dhan by commenting your views. Thank you for considering this suggestion.
