Do they answer client questions?
Years back, when I first set up an account with them, I reached out via email for some support, but I never got a reply. If an intermediary doesn’t respond to your questions, I wouldn’t suggest working with them. I’m not certain if things have changed since that time.
Later on, my accountant informed me about the FACTA rules and what I needed to follow if I had foreign investments while filing my taxes. Because of this, I decided not to invest in foreign securities to steer clear of the extra tax requirements.
