Currently dhan only supports 2 order validity types - Day and IOC, whereas zerodha has minutes also. However, I would like to suggest adding Minutes and also a Time-Based Order Execution option under order validity. This feature would allow users to set a specific timeframe during which an order should be active. For example, users could set an order to cancel if not executed between 10:35 AM and 10:50 AM. This would offer greater flexibility and precision for traders who want to target specific market conditions within defined time windows.

@PravinJ Hope you are doing great. Is heatmaps on the web possible? Like for FNO stocks or Nifty500, all in 1 screen?
Count my vote for this too.
Will be very helpful for swing trading.
@PravinJ @Pranita In Groww thare is thing very it shows while buying stock this stock is under watch by exchange for investors this is very helpful why it not on dhan can you ad this.
Hi @MasterGk Gaurav, this are regulatory requirements and are shown by every stock broking platform. It isnât platform specific feature, all brokers have to adhere to this⊠including Dhan.
I think he might be talking about a scenario where orders are directly executed from tv.dhan.co. There is no such pop up on there.
Please make SL order and Take Profit more like the one available on Tradingview. I think placing bracket order is too cumbersome for many day. traders. Why now allow Options Traders to place an order and after that, let them decide where they want to place their SL order and Take Profit order. Will that be possible.
Hi @thetribaltrader Well not that easy, TradingView underlying platform that handles orders is way to different that how our exchanges handles the one - specially the one that you refer to; which is why we do not offer⊠it will slow down systems and order execution, and also performance of charts⊠hence canât be replicated on tv.dhan.co.
That aside, many users donât realise that Bracket Order that Dhan provides is an exchange specified order type, and in this case your order sits in the exchange order book and as a result gives you an time priority for execution compared other alternatives suggested.
