How is Networth shown in App

@Divyesh any update on this ? Networth still touched fictitious highs during live trading.

The way networth varies is baffling and confusing. Please do something about this. Today Dhan took me over 1Cr to modest 50L

See the situation now. If I have 88L for investing how is my networth 58.72L ?

The available margin shown is also wrong sometimes intraday these days. Am yet to identify the sequence of events that causes this. Sometimes my new orders failed on multiple days (due to fund shortage) even when the margin available shown is above 30L which is when I realised what is shown is wrong.

In this above case, the pledge amount is not considered in the calculation. It is only included when it is used for an open position. Additionally, as per our last communication, we are actively working to optimize this process and enhance your overall experience.

I don’t think that is the case. I posted the pic after market. After posting couple of hours later values again changed with out placing any further trades.

EOD the networth seems correct. So my sense is that

networth = EOD value + day realised pnl + day unrealised pnl

This should give fairly correct values.

This also needs attention.

Yes, we are working on this for better understanding.

We tried reaching you to discuss this case but were unable to connect. Usually, it shouldn’t happen; we will check this internally and monitor from our end.

I had reported similar issue last week also. I think it was Aniket from tech team who talked with me over phone coordinated by @RahulDeshpande. This is a serious issue. When we are live trading we need to know how much margin is left. If an incorrect value is shown, order fails etc when live trading in a fast moving market it causes mental harakiri.

In the latest app networth is screwed up even more than the previous versions. Earlier it used to be correct atleast after EOD process is done. But now even that is erroneous.

Please either pull this down or fix it. In the current form networth shown is just a number that causes confusion.

@PravinJ Most of the Time networth is incorrect. Request you to please either update it once in day after all the settlements or please imporve it. It’s most often gives wrong value.

Unrealistic lows and highs in networth is a cause of concern. Clients are getting confused and asking why this is taking time @PravinJ @Naman
