How many days will it take for Mf units to be available for pledging i.e. if i buy mutual fund from the dhan app on Monday, will it be available on Tuesday to pledge and get margin or it’ll be available on Wednesday? Thanks.
Wednesday as units are credited at EOD basis I guess!

If you buy a Mutual Fund on Monday, the units are usually available for pledging on Wednesday.
How it works step-by-step (Demat MF on Dhan):
- Monday (T day): You place the MF purchase order
- Tuesday (T+1): NAV is applied and units are allotted by the AMC
- Wednesday (T+2): Units get credited to your Demat account and become eligible for pledging / margin

I had a question on unpledge - When i place an unpledge request for a fund, do you look at margin utilization at end of day for processing the unpledge or is it the peak margin during the day of request that determines if unpledge request is processed?

Have a request , the new mutual fund houses like CAPITAL MIND , ABAKKUS , wealth company have invested but are not eligible for pledging
Could these also be considered ( may be with a higher hair cut )
Will also be an encouragement for the new ones
