Introducing: Position Analyser on Options Trader App
The Position Analyser is a specialized feature designed for traders who want to track their
executed F&O strategies using real-time data through an interactive pay-off graph. This
feature is accessible with several powerful tools such as:
● Flexible Leg Management: You can now check or uncheck individual legs within
your open positions. This is incredibly useful if you have multiple strategies running
on the same underlying, as it allows you to either see the combined impact of all
positions or isolate a single strategy to gain more clarity on its specific performance.
● Interactive Pay-off Graph: The Position Analyser features a detailed pay-off graph
with three distinct lines, the Expiry line, the Today line, and the Target line. To help
you prepare for different market scenarios, you can manually adjust the spot price
and the target date to see exactly how your P&L might change under various market
conditions.
● Comprehensive Strategy Metrics: All critical data points you need to manage risk
are available in real-time. You can instantly view your Max Profit, Max Loss, RiskReward Ratio, Breakeven Points, etc. for your active positions, all in one place.
● Strategy Price Chart & Multi-strike OI: We have also integrated a Strategy Price
Chart and Multi-strike OI analysis specifically for your active strategy. This allows you
to track the combined premium movement of your legs and monitor how open
interest is shifting across the specific strikes you are currently holding.
To access this, simply go to your Positions tab on the Options Trader app where you will see
an Analyse button in the top-right corner. Clicking this button opens an overlay showing all
the underlying instruments where you have open positions and will allow you to analyse your
position according to the instrument selected.
