Newly listed IPOs don’t get their market depth displayed on DOM on tv.dhan.co on the listing day.
Check many listed ones but none is showing.
@RahulDeshpande could you please get it checked.

Hello @Shally, we are checking this and will update you shortly.
Hello @Shally, please try the following steps once tv.dhan.co > User Settings > Charts > untick “Show Full Depth (NSE Equity & Derivative)” and check again. Just to add, that full market depth will not be visible for IPO stocks, as this data is not received from the exchange.
You can refer to the screenshot for reference.
Hello @Madiya_Khatri,
Thank you, the solution worked.
Is there a way to optimise this? Because everytime we check a price of a newly listed one we have to change settings. This is inconvenient.
There should be something that if full depth is not available even then it should fallback to 5 level depth.
Hi @Shally These are two different sockets to receive information.
Hi @PravinJ, just checked Zerodha, they do it on automated basis without any manual intervention from user’s end. But they don’t have DOM, is it specifically related to DOM only?
Hi @Shally Well we can’t discuss more on this publicly, how we manage our infra on feeds, charts, etc are bit of confidential matters. Lots of things that Dhan does is been followed by our competitors, there are certain ways few platforms handle it and we do a lot of things differently.
Yes, but to answer you - this is about DOM.
We run our processes on our own stack, and also when it comes to full depth - we have throttled down for speed. We can do 25-30 ticks per second, but have slowed it to be easy to read.
Hi @PravinJ, understood and respect it.
However, I hope that you would find solution to this problem someday!
Thanks
