Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has launched options contracts on the MCX iCOMDEX Bullion Index (MCX BULLDEX®) — a major milestone for India’s commodities market.
Key Highlights:
- Contract Launch Date: October 27, 2025
- Underlying: MCX iCOMDEX Bullion Index (MCX BULLDEX®)
- Option Type: European-style Call & Put Options
- Trading Days & Session: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30/11:55 p.m.*
- Lot Size: Rs. 30 × Index Points (value not less than ₹5 lakh at introduction)
- Settlement: Cash-settled, T+1 day premium settlement
This move will give traders and investors a new way to hedge and take exposure to the bullion segment. The first contracts start trading from Monday, October 27, 2025
