How to get the google form link of Zerodha to try MTF?

I am agree online platform like Dhan should not stop any features on which they gain customer based, a customer choose the platform for trading based on service providing by the brocker, I am really shocked the decision and its reason made posted behind this, no one is happy the customer is above all of this and he/she has the right what is best and what is bad. They all are aware and educated.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Could you also share other costs like pledge/unpledge charges, demat debit charges, any other hidden charges, unpledge process etc.

Have you tried blinkx? It’s by JM financial and the MTF rates, available stocks etc are very opaque(and sounds relationship-driven) but they might give you a good deal if your ticket size is large enough. Please let us know how it goes

Thanks for the other suggestions

Hii @PravinJ @Dhan
Can you provide an estimated date when you will start MTF services again? It would be helpful to know if it will take some days or months so that we can think about shifting to other platforms or remain on this platform.

Appreciate your detailed comment here. Guys be careful with brokers who are notorious or not well setup. Their features, particular facility may seem lucrative but very few are consistent, fluid and easy to use.
Even the good ones have their own set of problems-

  • Zerodha - continuos connectivity issue
  • Fyers - Inconsistent and erratic but features rich
  • Dhan - Do I need to mention?

Further to add this post, while our risk team has proactively taken these measures to pause fresh investments - it seems that even industry peers have acted accordingly.

Image from today’s Economic Times:

It’s been 10 days since MTF paused, please provide a timeline. If it’s only for a few days, I’ll wait because I believe Dhan is the best platform with its unique features, but I only invest in MTF. At least 5 paisa and Angel One have provided a timeline, they paused new MTF investments for one week. We anticipate from you that you may provide a timeline, It will improve the trust that we have in the Dhan platform.

@GalaticX Thanks for your inputs

Can you confirm if ICICI direct allows GTT orders for MTF just like Dhan does?

Like forex prop firm giving funded account for trading. I wish Indian brokers can do the same.

Hi @Pradhan This isn’t permitted by regulations.

Yes but hope so in future!!

However, I couldn’t help but notice that Dhan Broker currently lacks an attractive margin trading plan. I would like to request the Dhan Broker team to consider providing some good MTF interest deals. For instance, I recently came across an offer from ICICI Direct, where they charge a nominal fee of 4999 rupees and offer a lifetime interest rate of 9.65% per year. It would be highly appreciated if Dhan Broker could provide a similar, if not better, deal.

I believe that by offering a competitive and attractive MTF interest rate, Dhan Broker can attract more traders and investors to its platform. It would not only benefit the community but also enhance the overall trading experience.

I look forward to hearing from the Dhan Broker team and the community’s thoughts on this matter. Together, we can make a difference and create a thriving trading community.

Thank you for your attention and support.

@PravinJ Is there any ETA on when this will become available again? Budget event is over, so unpredictability is gone. Now this is affecting serious swing trader like me. You can reduce the margin or can resume this in phases but completely locking everyone out is not prudent. Please consider this request.
