I would like to bring to your attention an issue regarding the timing of the daily contract notes.
I have observed that the contract notes are often emailed quite late at night. For example, the contract note for trades executed on 06 July 2026 was received at approximately 11:55 PM, making it difficult to reconcile and tally my daily trades on the same day.
As an active trader, I review my trades, brokerage, statutory charges, and other transaction details every evening. Delayed receipt of the contract note affects my daily accounting, reconciliation, and record-keeping process.
I would like to point out that most other brokerage firms send their contract notes much earlier, generally within a reasonable time after market hours, enabling traders to complete their daily reconciliation on the same day. I would request Dhan to consider following a similar practice for the convenience of its clients.

Is there a fixed schedule for sending the daily contract notes?

Is there any operational reason why the contract notes are being sent so late at night?

Can the contract notes be sent earlier, preferably soon after all trades have been processed?

Timely availability of contract notes would greatly help traders like me in maintaining accurate records, reconciling daily trades, and promptly identifying any discrepancies, if any.
