Scanx has stock names in full and when they are added to watchlists, ticker symbols are shown in Dhan instead of full names. I want either full names or ticker symbols in both places, like it was till few days ago.
And, stock symbols for the stocks which already exist in the portfolio are not shown with briefcase icon.
What is going on?

It looks like you’ve enabled the Symbol Name setting, which applies to the Watchlist, Positions, and Portfolio sections. That’s why ticker symbols are appearing instead of full stock names. You can switch this setting if you prefer consistent naming across sections. Please refer to the attached screenshot for guidance.
Also, to clarify, the briefcase (bag) icon for portfolio stocks has been removed as part of the recent Dhan Web revamp
I did not enable anything, it got enabled on its own.
Why?
How would I know if the stock already exists in my portfolio or not, if I have many stocks?
Today, I had to click the sell button for every stock in the watchlist to see if I have it or not and remove which I already have.
What is the alternative?
Hi @Trader_FT , to answer your questions about ticker symbol, you can go to Watchlists on Dhan web and click on settings tab on the bottom right corner of the watchlist , you can choose to ‘show details’ to see the full scrip name.

What about the briefcase symbol? How could I know if I already have the stock in my portfolio or not?
@Trader_FT you can view the ‘Invested’ Watchlist to keep a track of the stocks you have in your portfolio.
I have several watchlists which sometimes can have tens of stocks. I cannot toggle between the watchlist I am looking at and the invested watchlist easily. I may have to check 100 stocks sometimes.
Why do you have to remove such a useful little thing?

Issues were resolved. I can see full names and briefcase icon.
