Stock Futures OI Change Heatmap (Similar to 360 Research)

Hi Team Dhan :wave:,

I’d like to request a Stock Futures Open Interest (OI) Change Heatmap feature — something similar to what’s available on 360 Research.

Why this would help

A visual heatmap of Price, OI Change, and Volume would make it much easier to quickly identify market trends and participant behavior across different sectors and Stocks. This would be extremely useful for traders who analyze futures data.

Suggested Features

  1. Metrics to Display:
  • Price movement
  • OI Change (absolute and % change)
  • Volume
  1. Sorting & Filtering Options:

  • Sort by Long Build-up, Short Build-up, Short Covering, Long Unwinding

  • Sort by Sector and Index Constituents (e.g., NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY)

  • Sort by Futures Expiry Dates

  • Hover or click on any contract to view detailed metrics (price, OI, volume, and change %)

Reference Example

You can refer to the Futures OI Heatmap on 360 Research as an example layout and functionality reference. A similar tool integrated within Dhan would greatly improve futures analysis and help traders act faster with better insights.

Hey @Nick07, Thanks for the awesome suggestion. A Stock Futures OI Change Heatmap with metrics like Price, OI Change, and Volume sounds like a game-changer for traders. We’ll definitely pass this idea along to the team.

Even Upstox provides a Futures OI heatmap. Since I primarily use Dhan, I’d love to have all these useful features available here, so I don’t need to switch to other websites.
