Hello! Have there been any recent changes to the login flow for the Switch Accounts feature? Earlier, switching accounts only required fingerprint authentication. Now, after every app restart, the secondary account prompts for an OTP each time.
Please let me know if this is an intended change or if it can be reviewed. Thanks!
Hi @thisisbanerjee, Yes, these are intended changes for logging into secondary accounts.
Thanks for the clarification. Since this change is intentional, it effectively means the secondary account is being logged in from scratch each time. In that case, it may be better to avoid using the anti-cloning feature of the Google Play Integrity API that Dhan implemented around May 2025, from the usability perspective.
Allowing app cloning would be preferable to requiring a fresh login to the secondary account on every instance.
