Is the API Key feature not yet enabled? I filled all the 3 fields(Application Name, Redirect URL, Postback URL (Optional)) for creating API key but the “Generate API Key” is not letting me click only.
@Hardik Sometimes response in TOTP input page is “Something went wrong…”.

This is not the issue as it worked before and currently it’s failing intermittently
The browser based token generation flow is way too complex and requires multiple clicks to navigate from one screen to other. See how FlatTrade does it. It’s so simple. Please see if you too can implement something like that.
with the recent changes for authentication, this from website name should be changed from madefortrade.in to NotMadeForTrade.in

Sure, we will look to simplify this further. Also browser based flow is not mandatory and you can continue on the Access Token flow itself.

@Hardik The browser based phase is Mandatory. From Consent ID to TokenID generation, browser based flow is required. This is also mentioned in STEP2 in the API documentation
Consent ID generation (API) => Token ID Generation (ONLY in Browser) => Actual token (API)
This is my understanding. If I am missing something, please let me know.

Yes, but you can always use the simple Access Token generation from web.dhan.co itself.

Dhan does not care about customers. I think our account is testing ground for them. I have reported these issue to SEBI scores and Dhan’s compilance officer shamelessly deny my complaints to SEBI. I have further provided proofs to SEBI. Let’s see how it goes. I am moving mine and my family accounts to 0dha for good.
