here he said 31st Jan. which one is correct?
@Hardik 31st March or 31st January??
Hi Hardik, which services are you recommending for acquiring static IPs? This is a common question for everyone who needs static IPs, so please feel free to share your recommendations.
Others can also add your recommendation on Static IP providers.
While the end date is 31st March, it is recommended that you do this as soon as possible before the deadline.
@jaison there are various services/vendors providing this service. I will recommend any of the top cloud service providers or your own internet service provider. There are now a lot of platforms/small vendors who are into the business of reselling IPs and enable routing via proxies but this comes with own set of challenges and lacks reliability.
Hi @Hardik ,
Please update the procedure for linking the static IP to family accounts, Deadline has now be set to 15th March, 2026 though other brokers (and govt requirement ) have set it as 1st April 2026.
regards,
Hey @Hans_Singh1
Yes, the deadline will be 31st March itself, and we want users to have this set up as soon as possible to avoid any last minute hassle.
On the family static IP, we are still working on implementing the same.
Hey Hardik,
I have the same query โStatic IP Sharing with Family Membersโ.
Note that, me and my wife are moving to Dhan from another broker due the better API infra. We had the same issue with current broker but yet there is no possible workaround there.
Here also, I wanted to check on this facility as we were unable to add the same static IP on the second account and the last update I found here were about 3 weeks old while the other brokers like ICICI are already facilitating this via service tickets.
Can you please tell us if this implemented now? If yes, what procedures need to be followed for sharing Static IP with family members as there are no options provisioned yet on API dashboard.

Hello @CPALED
You can just drop a note on apihelp@dhan.co for Family IP whitelisting, we will help you with the process around the same.
Check the endpoints you are using it should be v2 not v1
Self generated token works with v1 and v2 but endpoint generated only works with v2
Hi @Hardik
Orders placed via API are not editable ( modified ) via web / mobile app with reason "User doesnot have the sufficient permission ). Only cancellation is allowed .
Regards,
@prashantcafe Most probably because of the IP mismatch. Might work when the API orders are originating from the IP where the web app is handling modifications.
web / mobile app dont use dedicated IP.
Well, if due to any such restriction, order can be internally converted to non-API order for all purposes. @Hardik
