Account change charges

I don’t find these charges written anywhere on the website.

If these charges were written on the Pricing & Brokerage Charges | Dhan I would have not opened the dhan Demat account.

Hi @Abhi2,

Our pricing page (Pricing & Brokerage Charges | Dhan) does mention about other charges as well. Here it is for your reference:

This is a nominal charge to cover for e-sign, scanning & form processing as the details are updated across Exchanges & Depositories.

Well not specifically mentioned but yes if you are going to just say that we have given an disclaimer, I will most probably close my account or just don’t use it.

Hi @Abhi2 The pricing page reflects most of the commonly used products, in case of us it would possibly cover >99% of all charges.

It is incorrect to assume that if it is not mentioned here, it is not charged. The screenshot clearly mentions that if a service is provided and charged - it is mentioned upfront. We believe in being super transparent with our users, many of our services are provided at cost to our users (like DDPI) and a lot are free (adding money to Dhan account) and so on. There will always be exceptions like in this case.

Hope this clarifies.

It is clearly mentioned in FAQ, I don’t think it should be an issue to pay as it’s ekyc charges Dhan pays to the service through they have integrated. They are not earning anything here.

I meant that you are hiding these charges from the new customers.
I would have never opened an account in Dhan if I knew there are charges for the account change.

You are misleading new customers. We are not able to compare the brokers. But this is not just you, many brokers do it. By the way, thanks for your support.

Disclaimer : I know that you are a company and not charity but I sincerely request to you please mention all charges on the pricing page.

Well I can’t read all the faq to compare the charges of the different brocker.

Yes and I also agree that the dhan is a great broker still but not for me as I frequently change accounts ( I don’t know why).

By the way, I also only do the ipo investing and seems like the dhan is still developing many ipo features like dhan just show the last status as payment done and not tell about the allotment status even after listing of the stock.

It shows everything bro, See below.

Hmm… Yeah. Maybe after the update on the app. And seems like it’s much better than groww. But it’s definite that the user experience is not so great, I would have never figured it out where i can see my bids in the app if I don’t have checked the youtube video.

Dhan Is great and Improving.
