Even after reaching good profits, emotions often take over and wipe out the entire day profits. If profit protection was available, many such days — and capital — could be saved.
This small enhancement can protect capital, profits, and mental peace for thousands of intraday and options traders like me.
Kindly request you to prioritise and share an approximate timeline for releasing Profit Protection (If possible with Trailing Profit Protection)
Recently launched P&L exit with kill switch is already a life saver.
Thank you for genuinely building trader-first features.
Hi @NAYAK, Sorry for missing this earlier, and thank you for your detailed explanation.
At the moment, Profit Protection with trailing is not part of our current roadmap. That said, we will discuss this internally to explore how profit protection and trailing features can be integrated with Set P&L in the future. Meanwhile, you can continue using individual trailing stop-loss orders as an alternative.
Hi @NAYAK, As discussed on the call, we’ve noted your suggestion to integrate a profit protection feature into the P&L Exit flow. This may be considered at a later stage as part of the broader Dhan revamp.
At the moment, we won’t be able to share a timeline for this. Thank you for your patience and for following up.
Hi team, any update on the proposed profit protection feature for the P&L Exit flow?
Also, a practical suggestion: instead of applying P&L Exit on total account P&L, consider implementing it at per-order / per-position level.
This would naturally solve profit protection—e.g., if one position is already closed in profit and I take a new trade with a tight P&L exit, the earlier booked profit remains protected without getting offset by the new trade’s drawdown.
This approach would make risk management far more precise for active traders.
As a loyal customer who trades daily on your platform, I took time to share genuine feedback that I believe will improve the experience for thousands of users like me.
I’m not demanding implementation-just a simple acknowledgment that my voice has been heard.
Lots of reminders and zero replies feels like my feedback doesn’t matter to you. That truly hurts.
Please let me know you’ve at least seen this. A one-line reply will restore my faith in DHAN’s customer-first promise.
