I’ve been using Dhan for its superior charting experience, especially the TradingView integration. However, as an active price action trader, I’ve noticed that the Fair Value Gap (FVG) indicator is currently missing from the mobile app’s built-in indicator list.
While we can use custom scripts on the web platform , many of us trade primarily from our mobile devices. FVG is a core component of Smart Money Concepts (SMC) and helps identify institutional imbalances and liquidity zones.
Why this would be helpful:
Imbalance Identification: Quickly spot where price has skipped trade interactions.
Entry/Exit Precision: FVG acts as a magnet for price, helping with limit order placement.
Convenience: Having it as a native tool on the app saves us from manually drawing boxes for every gap on small screens.
Dhan has always been quick to implement user feedback. I hope the team can add a standard FVG indicator to the mobile charting library soon!
