Alert Notification Improvement
Currently, the alert system saves the triggered alert in the Archive, but the user has to manually open the app and check the Archive to understand what happened. This is tedious and can cause important alerts to be missed.
Proposed Change
When an alert is triggered, the notification itself should clearly display what the alert is for.
For example:
-
Breakout Alert — NIFTY has broken above 25,000 -
Breakdown Alert — BANK NIFTY has fallen below 54,000 -
Price Alert — RELIANCE reached ₹1,500 -
Volume Alert — Volume increased significantly -
OI Alert — Significant change detected in Open Interest
The notification should contain the alert type + symbol + trigger condition/value, so the user immediately understands why they received the notification.
Expected User Experience
Current:
Alert triggered → Notification → Open App → Go to Archive → Find Alert → Understand what happened
Improved:
Alert triggered → Notification clearly explains the event
The Archive can still retain the complete alert history, but users should not have to open the app just to understand which alert was triggered.
Additional Recommendation
Tapping the notification should take the user directly to the relevant alert/chart, rather than simply opening the app homepage.
