Amount based SIP

Hello Team,
While placing SIP there are two options either quantity based or amount based.If amount based does it invest only as per amount threshold? .For eg I have set value as 10 and if script is Rs.2 it will buy 5 units and if script value is changed to Rs.5 it will be buy 2 units.Kindly confirm.

Yes, that is correct. If you select amount it will be deducted basis amount and if you select quantity, it will buy a fixed quantity at your chosen intervals irrespective of the amount.
