Angular Trend lines and Parallel channel lines shifting while switching timeframes in Dhan TV Chart

Hi @Dhan Team,

While drawing trendlines or using parallel channel, i have noticed that the line shifts from the actual position (leading us to think a breakout or breakdown has occured and causing us to wrongly enter a trade) while switching timeframes. The lines correct when the chart is zoomed out to the max (you can see the line shifting in the attached video).

This is really annoying and not what you would expect from Dhan which is a platform specifically focusing on traders. Please resolve this as soon as possible.

Related to Drawings Drawn on TV Dhan Chart - Request Attention :eyes: - MadeForTrade

Hi, I had Reported a similar issue a year before…Then. Dhan team has said its an issue known (or a limitation) for trading view…

Nowadays, I have limited my use of Trendlines and started using Channels, that too started to act out.

This issue and another perennial issue (Auto Save chart limitation of 5mB) Auto save (Chart) Layout limit (5 MB) Exceeded - Product Feedback :speaking_head: - MadeForTrade has been a great demotivation of pursuing TV. Dhan Charts for drawing studies, so I had to move my studies out of Dhan charts to an another. Lets see how these issues are getting addressed.

Hi @Akshay009 and @sirpian, we understand the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

For the layout limit, a quick workaround is to duplicate the layout and remove all drawings from the copy.

Regarding trendlines and parallel lines, changing the timeframe loads only the visible data. As you zoom out or scroll, more data loads, which can cause the lines to shift. We’ve highlighted this with the TV team for further optimization. stay tuned for more enhancements.

Hi @Mohseen_Usmani

Is there an option to remove all the drawings in a layout which is duplicated in a single shot?

I am not sure in which all charts i have drawings on. So unless i have a list of all the charts where drawings are present in the current layout (to manually open each of them and remove all drawings), i would not be able to do that.

A quick hack or workaround would be to give an option to delete all the saved drawings in a Layout with a single click (Please guide me if such a feature already exists).

Also, the line shifting is not the actual problem. The line “starts” at the wrong position when we switch to a different timeframe. This could misguide us into thinking that there is a trade there.

The zooming out actually only works as a temporary solution to “correct” this issue. But doing it everytime is also a hassle. Its kind of like saying we can’t trust the chart drawings to begin with😅. I hope you understand the difficulty with this issue.
