Applying for IPO - option to Add UPI ID has vanished!

So I am trying to apply for Cellecor IPO.

But on last screen where I am to add my UPI ID. There is no text box where I can add my UPI ID.

Earlier it used to show me the bank names and a text box where I could add my UPI ID.

But there is no text box. So there is no option to mention your UPI ID and hence I can not place the order.

Please see screenshot. I tried with two DHAN accounts. Both accounts have same issue.

Screen shots are from desktop version and not mobile. Although it looks like mobile screenshot but they are from desktop.

Please resolve before 3:30 PM so I can apply for the same.

Just checked this at our end and the UPI handles are visible. Also, bids are getting processed even now. Kindly do check your mobile app that the UPI handles are added and verified for your bank account.

On mobile it shows me all three banks with a textbox to add UPI ID.

But above screenshots are from web.dhan.co (desktop).

It does not show banks and does not show text. (see screenshot, on how it shows UPI but no banks are shown.

Please try on desktop version at your end. Pick any active IPO. Proceed with details. And at the end when it reaches last stage it will not show the bank at all.

PS: Currently I applied via mobile but I prefer to apply via desktop and on large screen. Thank you.

Here’s a screenshot for your reference. Can you try zooming out once? Might be a screen resolution issue. [On Chrome, it is CMD/CTRL and - keys pressed together]

Please note that, everything used to work just fine till yesterday. So it cant be screen resolution related problem. As screen and monitor and OS and browser, all are same. Nothing has changed.

I use Firefox. And zooming in or zooming out… it does not show any bank.

Does it have something to do with that I have 4 registered banks?

I created fresh profile (completely empty) on Firefox. Still same error.

Also tried with different user account on the system. Still same error.

Power of firefox and multi-account containers is not there in Mobile App.

On firefox I have logged in to 4 containers for 4 family accounts.

I just click click click and within 2mins all 4 IPOs are done.

On mobile I can access only 2 profiles max. And then I have to logout from 2 and then relogin with other 2. To apply for IPO.

So takes away 5-8 minutes.

Soon I plan to migrate 3 more individual accounts from Upstox to Dhan.

So you can imagine that maintaining 7 accounts in a single mobile will be time consuming and applying for IPO for each accounts will take away 15minutes on mobile.

So Firefox comes handy here. All you do is create 7 containers. Login to each family account in each container. And do not logout, so they always remain logged in. So now everytime I have to apply any IPO. I simply open the container, click click click related buttons and I am done in 3-4 minutes (for all 7 accounts).

Containers also come handy when placing buy / sell orders. I normally buy/sell equal quantity of shares for each account. With containers I can place orders for all 7 accounts almost at the same time and same price. So orders get executed at same time before market fluctuations affect the price.

This issue seems to have been resolved. Now I can see the bank accounts again.

Just for the record, it would great if the following feature is also added:

Pre-filled UPI ID for IPO application

Hello When we apply for IPO, at the final step it asks for UPI ID and we have to manually type it everytime. This is prone to user typing wrong UPI ID. For example, if user is managing multiple bank accounts, he can type UPI id of another bank instead of UPI Id of selected bank. This can lead to IPO application rejected or mandate rejected. I request that the UPI ID be stored somewhere and be pre-filled, so that user does not have to type it everytime, avoiding the mistakes. Here is an examp…

You will not have to manually enter UPI ID if you have ever added any money on Dhan before via UPI. We store the UPI VPA once money is successfully added to your Dhan account, and later, while applying for IPO, their is an option provided to choose UPI ID and the option to edit the same as well if required.
