Hi @GreatQuant
All our futures charts are continuous charts. The near month chart shows all the front month data in chart.
Example, right now if you see Nifty Mar Futures chart it will be exactly like NIFTY 1! in tradingview.com.
Hi Naman,
Thank you very much for your reply. I see limited data on the Nifty Mar future, if i compare it t o trading view, it is from 2016 but in dhan, it is only from 1st Jan 2022.
continuous futures may be very good for analyzing long term trend, i think that why TV has it.
Thanks,

Hi @GreatQuant
We understand how important continuous charts are for the traders that is why we have given all the futures charts as continuous for daily and above time frames. For intraday time frame we have kept it from the inception of contract, as intraday timeframe cover most of the data points in this duration which is requisite for technical analysis.
Hope this helps.
Hi Naman,
Thanks for your answer. Now I got it.
Thanks,

Hi,
Could you make it consistent by making Continuous charts available for intraday timeframes also? Sometimes, charts results in inconsistencies when we compare it with Tradingview’s Continuous charts.
Hi @Shally
Thanks for your suggestion. Let us evaluate, if we find there is value continuous intraday charts bring in traders life, we will definitely try to incorporate in our roadmap. Though intraday charts are mostly referred to track current day or past few days data set.
Hi,
Continuous charts intraday timeframes (1m) is required for intraday Index Option trading, without it we cannot backtest & cant get proper support/resistance levels.
Continuous contracts in Dhan are not same as that in Trading view. Only particular month series is same. For eg. as of today, if you look at Nifty Oct Fut, it is same as Nifty1!. But in dhan, September month data as on 4th Oct is inconsistent. Looking at the charts today, Sept series Nifty Fut closed 19525 on 28th Sept in Tradingview. But on Dhan, it closed on 19656.20 on Sept 28th if you check today ie on 4th Oct. Due to this moving averages are inconsistent which need data from several past candles, such as 200 EMA on 15 min candles would need data from almost 12 days in the past. Please rectify this.
