Auto read otp in Mutual Fund

Auto read otp feature while investing in mutual funds can be a great time saver on collective basis. Other brokers like indmoney have this. Groww also have it not sure though.

Pls note that unlike debit card txn otp, where otp is the final page, In our case of MF, the otp is just an authentication after which user gets to select the payment mode. So auto read of otp wont hamper the choice of change of mind of the user as even on the next page, the user can always press back to decline the txn.

I know these are small things but since dhan has come a long way, I believe you will focus on complete experience as well.

Hi @krishag Auto-Read of OTPs is already enabled from our end. It must be some configuration on your mobile device.

I searched for problems on my device then I went to the settings. I found out this -

There’s no sms permission even requested by the Dhan then how will a user give sms permission and without the permission how can Dhan auto read otp.

There’s no sms permission in the list of permission below -

Now, pls check the permission list for groww app -

But, the answer to the original post still remains unanswered about auto read without sms permission. I hope you will get this checked.

And I totally understand by consolidated feedback, will try doing that in future but since the the information is gained during the conversations , its difficult to post together.
