Hi @Hardik @iamshrimohan ,
If Dhan can display Breakeven Price in the Portfolio, it can be very useful to traders.
Following is the usecase:
Let’s say, Rediya is a short term positional trader, trading in the equity segment.
- He bought 100 stocks of ABCL at Rs 100.
- then sold 10 stocks at Rs 105.
- then sold 30 stocks at Rs 90.
- then sold another 30 at Rs 85.
- He bought back 40 at Rs 70.
So, now what’s the breakeven price of Redia’s current holdings of 70 ABCL stocks which can give him exit from the ABCL without loss/profit?

I also have a few stocks in my holdings where the average price shown turns out messy because of multiple entries and exits. Since brokers’ back-office systems calculate using FIFO (First-In-First-Out), the average they display often doesn’t really reflect the real-life average of my strategy.
To deal with this, I manually calculate my own average based on how I want to track the position. I then set price alerts at that level and also plot it on my charts. This gives me a much clearer view,
I can totally relate to this requirement — having a way to input or adjust the “true” average would be very useful for me as well.

Hi @Brishide, @hachiko, you can view the breakeven price of individual orders using the order estimator feature. We have also noted your suggestion to show the breakeven price at the portfolio level, including all transactions in the stock.
