Updates are part of the product cycle and improvements are always welcomed
BUT
Updates are not meant for destroying the already functional and much used capabilities.
MANY TRADERS HAVE POINTED OUT THE ISSUES WITH DOM TRADER IN THIS UPDATE, BUT SURPRISINGLY THE DHAN TEAM IS ADAMANT IN PUSHING THIS, WHILE VERY WELL KNOWING THAT IT DESTROYES THE FUNCTIONALITY OF DOM TRADER.
THE DOM TRADER WITH THIS UPDATE WITHOUT THE LOCK THAT AUTO CENTERS THE DOM IS OF NO USE, NO MATTER YOU PROVIDE 5 DEPTH OR 20 DEPTH ALL ARE USELESS AS YOU CAN’T KEEP IT CENTERED.
YOU MIGHT A BE AWARE THAT THIS UPDATE WAS ROLLED BACK FEW DAYS BACK BEACUSE OF THIS SAME ISSUE, BUT TEAM AT DHAN STILL REFUSES TO FIX THE PROBLEM.
YOU CAN HOLD THE UPDATE FOR FEW WEEKS TILL THIS ISSUE IS FIXED BY THE DHAN TEAM OR PROVIDE US WITH A DATE BY WHICH THIS WILL BE FIXED
I AM LONG STANDING AND LOYAL CUSTOMER OF DHAN BUT IT SEEMS YOU HAVE JUST STOPED CARING ABOUT USERS.
They may or may not fix it or they may fix it after 6 months 10 months later we can’t wait in anticipation of something that may or may not happen.
What is the team at dhan doing this to fix it, i am not the only one that uses it there are numerous other trades that are facing the exact same problem.
Either withhold the update for few weeks till it is fixed or at least provide us with a deadline by which this will be resolved.

DOM has become one of the very essential tools I use to trade on daily basis.
I have suggested this already but doing it again, let there be 3 options, first being the dynamic which it is right now, then centered DOM as it was a feature earlier & 3rd the ability to move through it without centering it like if I want to see orders way above the current price & shifts the Dom to that price then it should not auto center unless I enable auto centering it, if you understand what I mean
all that needs to be done is add 3 options in a single button as there was, to center it, to make it dynamic or to make it manual like anywhere I want it to be, simple, it would really be helpful
I recall that there was a bug a while ago in an update to the Trading View Library. I believe it was with Fyers that had a feature allowing users to switch back to the previous version using a different URL.
By default, users would access the newest version, but those who wanted the older one could simply use a separate URL. This could be a simpler option to think about if rolling everything back isn’t feasible.
Other brokers have also updated to new tv library but still managed to retain the dom trader functionality , the technical team at dhan need to really sort this out, i am attaching an screenshot of another broker received from my friend, you can see the trade button has moved to bottom left pan as with the latest tv library update but the DOM functionality is as it was, it works and is fully functional with an lock that auto centers the DOM
This may not be the latest library version. DOM centering issue arose after release of library version 28.0.0 whereas the “Trade” button was shifted below in library version 27.0.0.
The ladder functionality of DOM with the ability to enable & disable dynamic mode (in order to center data) is working on other Indian broker terminals who are using TradingView libraries. Kindly restore enable & disable dynamic mode functionality.
We have added an update to TV charts which help you auto-center DOM. This has been turned on by default and you should be able to view DOM like you used to.
