Brokerage Waiver on NSE Crude Oil

Dear Community,

Building Dhan over the last 4 years has given us the opportunity to help traders and investors unlock new and better opportunities for creating wealth in the markets.

We’ve seen firsthand the positive impact of our products, features, and policies on lakhs of users, approximately 10L of whom continue to trust us for their trading and investing needs.

Users have been the centre of our philosophy, and users will always remain our priority. And while we were studying our userbase, we noticed something recently.

There’s been a sharp increase in the number of users diversifying their portfolio and exposure across segments. Users who were once confining themselves to Equity or Equity FnO are now actively taking part in other segments on Dhan, especially Commodities.

Commodity markets have always been a prospective avenue for hedging and speculation, and now, given the global state of affairs and macroeconomic climate, India’s retail participants are warming up to it.

In conjunction with Dhan, volumes on exchanges such as NSE and MCX have also shot up over the last 3 years, with Dhan Users playing a pivotal part in its rise. That’s why we want to do something special!

Announcing Zero Brokerage on NSE Crude Options on Dhan!

Crude Oil has been the king of the Commodity Markets in 2025, and its Options Contracts have been the preferred instrument for lakhs of India’s traders.

Securities mentioned are for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute recommendations.

On top of all this, NSE is introducing a new expiry schedule that is going to create a potential new avenue for trading and capital appreciation.

NSE Crude Oil Options will now expire 7 days before their MCX counterpart. As a result, traders will have better liquidity and newer trading opportunities to look forward to.

Being cash settled, Crude Oil Options open the door to several possibilities on Dhan. For example, the pledged margin you use for Equities during the day can be used for Commodity in the evening!

We look forward to you enjoying this new initiative!

Regards,
Jay Prakash Gupta
