Description of Issue: The issue is with the price ladder for any stock option in the DEXT Terminal (I use the app on a Mac). The ladder doesn’t automatically center on the Last Traded Price (LTP). Instead, it automatically snaps to the very top. Even if I manually scroll down to the center to view the LTP, the ladder will abruptly auto-scroll back to the top after a brief moment. Also, clicking on the “Center to LTP” button makes it go to the top of the ladder instead of centering to LTP.
Risk/Impact: This erratic auto-scrolling behaviour creates a severe execution risk. For example, I was attempting to place a limit order on the bid side. Just as I was about to click to place the order, the ladder auto-moved to the top. This resulted in my click landing directly on the ask, executing an unintended market order instead of my intended limit order.
Could the development team please look into fixing this scrolling behavior? It is currently very risky to use the ladder for quick order placement.
