Is there a way to visually display foreover orders on the chart, similar to how super orders are shown?
If I’m not mistaken, in super orders, the take-profit and stop-loss levels are essentially embedded foreover orders that remain visible on the chart until they are executed.
It would be great to have a similar visual representation for foreover orders, including create and modify directly on the charts itself. Kindly consider this as a feature request.
Thanks for the suggestion! We’ve noted your feedback on showing forever orders on the chart like super orders. We’ll consider this feasibility to improve your experience.
Hi @jaison Forever orders are different, more like what industry knows as GTT.
Super Order is built from scratch, although some components of it may seem like Forever - it is built from scratch on top of our trading engine - DEXT. It is very powerful, and has potential to replace many older order types over a period of time.
Super Orders are impressive – great functionality there!
I wanted to ask if there’s a possibility in the future where we could use Super Orders to manage existing positions?
Currently, it seems that Super Orders must be set up at the time of placing a buy or sell order directly from Dhan charts . In my case, I use TradingView.com to place trades initiated Intraday(which EOD converted to Delivery or MTF) , and then manage the position using Forever Orders or AMO orders T+1(I prefer AMO as I can see the orders on the charts).
For me to fully adopt Super Orders, it would be great if they could also be linked to or used for managing positions that were not initiated with a Super Order.
Hope there is a way in future to link Super orders with the existing positions.
