Hi @Dhan, @PravinJ sir, once a fund withdrawal request is placed,other than instant withdrawal, why can’t we cancel the request at any time before its credit? The credit takes a few hrs to process and the cancellation option is available only for 10-15 secs only. What if we want to cancel the withdrawal request after a few mins after req is placed? if such option is available, it can reduce number of fund transfers if incase of requests are placed mistakenly.

Today I placed a withdrawal request to meet some personal need but later the funds got arranged from elsewhere and I tried to cancel the withdrawal request. Then I came to know there is no such option and again I have to add back the funds here, increasing the fund transactions. But I have seen other platforms where the fund withdrawal requests can be cancelled even after 2-3 hrs as well, maybe some cut off time
I’m very thankful to the Dhan team for changing the Broking industry standard from several days down to just 15 minutes for fund withdrawals to bank account.

Hi @sri1647 Well, our systems are integrated deeply.
We can make the window to cancel from 1 min to 3 mins, but this potentially will not make much difference. Because post that the funds in few moments leave our system and move to withdrawal accounts, and then potentially already in the withdrawal journey either via the bank or payment gateway. Beyond this, even if we want to cancel - it won’t be.
I understand some broking platforms may offer this, but these may be manual controls and processes which beyond a point don’t scale. We are big fans of building things with tech and scale then efficiently.
Margin management is one of the most complex part of broking systems. I explained to you, I recollect on a different thread as well.
