Multiple sources suggest that significant changes are underway in the weekly expiry schedules for equity derivatives:

  • NSE is expected to shift its weekly expiry to Tuesdays
  • BSE is likely to get the Thursday expiry slot

Yes, there is a shift in expiries.

Changes likely from September 2025.

A confirmed notification will get published by both NSE and BSE (I think BSE already did).

Even brokers cannot confirm this yet. Everybody gets informed about this at same time (irrespective of brokers or traders).
