I am totally shocked after seeing that the price alerts beyond 250 are chargeable on dhan. It is industry’s first feature I guess.
How to check this ?
Hi @sri1647 Yes, there are updates on Alerts - that will be rolled out soon. More details then.
Dhan provides maximum alerts for free (ie 250), while the industry benchmark is ~100. We have kept the free limit at 250 and additional tiers are some of the users where the alert systems & infrastructure is misused, same plans has been placed to limit that.
We have seen the Alerts usage - the feature continues to be free for ~99% users, and restricts a very very few. That said, Alerts on Dhan will see lots of updates in coming times!

Hello @PravinJ, the pricing looks to be reasonable. Is there a way to check the number of alerts currently set in the account? To be clear, I am asking for the number and not what alerts are set. Are these limits a sum for both Price and Technical together, or is it separate? Will there be a notification to the user while setting a new alert if he/she is going above a threshold, i.e. 250, 500, 1000, 2500?

Yes, there will be a restriction on setting new alerts once your existing alert limit is reached.
The plan covers all types of active alerts: both Price and Technical. A detailed post explaining everything will be shared soon.
