On a particular fund page on app, we see comparison of nav movement against Nifty 50, here chart looks rebased at same level however it would be helpful if we also can see the numbers rebased at either 10,100,1000… For both fund as well as Nifty 50. As currently it shows number wrt to respective funds value , eg if i open bandhan nifty alpha 50 the chart shows its NAV whereas Nifty 50 shows the value for current level of the index. So it would be really helpful if both the numbers are rebased to same level on chart or if you think that might cause confusion seeing different value on chart and in actual then remove the numbers altogether and just show % change for both, the current implementation doesn’t make much sense to me as I can only look at chart and see how the fund has performed against benchmark but what is the use of number there as per current implementation if fund has moved from nav of 12 to 13 and at the same time nifty has moved 22000 to 23000 , which is unnecessary to display … both should either be rebased to same level or if not then get rid of numbers and just show rebased % change for both.
And secondly an option to change benchmark for comparison- either any index of choice or any mutual fund and not just Nifty 50
