Company Details and Top FII/DII Fund Holding and High Low based on Range Selected

Dear Dhan Team,

I’d like to suggest a feature to enrich the platform’s company analysis capabilities, which would greatly benefit users like me tracking investments in the Indian market. Here’s the proposal:

  1. Company Details Overview:
Include a section with key company information (e.g., sector, market cap, registered office address) to provide quick context.

Top DII and FII Funds Holding the Company:
Display the top Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) and Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) with their respective stakes (e.g., SBI Mutual Fund - 3.5%, HDFC Mutual Fund - 2.8%, or BlackRock - 4.2%). This would help identify major institutional players influencing the stock.

  2. Delivery Volume as a Percentage of Total Traded Volume:
Provide the delivery volume (shares settled, not intraday) as a percentage of the total traded volume for the latest trading session. For example: “Delivery Volume: 45% of Total Traded Volume (5,00,000 shares out of 11,11,111 traded).” This metric is crucial for gauging genuine buying/selling interest on NSE/BSE.

  3. High/Low Prices for Selected Time Ranges:
Add an interactive option under the “Market” tab to select time periods—5 days (5D), 1 month (1M), 6 months (6M), and 1 year (1Y)—and display the highest and lowest prices within those ranges. For instance:
    5D: High - ₹1,250 | Low - ₹1,180
    1M: High - ₹1,300 | Low - ₹1,150
    6M: High - ₹1,450 | Low - ₹1,100
    1Y: High - ₹1,600 | Low - ₹1,050
This would offer a quick snapshot of price volatility and trends over time

Thank you so much for sharing such detailed suggestions. We truly appreciate the time and effort you’ve taken!

  1. We currently display core company information such as sector, market cap, and fundamental data on the Dhan app, web, and ScanX platform. That said, your idea to include top institutional holdings (FII/DII) with percentage breakdowns under major holdings is a valuable enhancement, and we’ve shared it with our product team for consideration in future updates.

  2. While a net volume indicator is already available on charts, we understand the value in seeing delivery volume as a percentage of the total traded quantity. This is indeed a strong metric for analyzing genuine interest in a stock, and your feedback is acknowledged.

  3. We have taken note of your suggestion to include an interactive timeframe-based high/low display under the Markets tab. this would certainly help in offering a quick, visual snapshot of price trends across various periods.

Stay tuned for future enhancements, and once again, thank you for helping make Dhan better with your insightful feedback.
