With the current global geopolitical tensions, the Defence sector is clearly showing strong relative strength. Today marks the opening of the Axis Nifty India Defence Index Fund (NFO), which provides an easy way to get exposure to this space.
Personally, I am very bullish on the long-term prospects of India’s defence story. However, I am not rushing to buy anything purely based on news (No FOMO).
My plan is to track the charts closely and wait for a proper setup to form as per my trading strategy. Discipline over emotions is what matters. Once I get a clear entry signal, I will look for a long-term investment opportunity.
