Dear team,
I have dhan account and i am very happy from dhan…as lots of useful features which saving time while trading, easy etc etc…
But we user want 1 more very useful feature that is demo virtual account where we can add virtual money and trade so that we will test our strategis …practicing…also useful for new begineers…
Also no otherr broker has this feature so as marketing or attract more customers it will be very useful…
Don’t be negative… virtual trading will be good and helpful…and for confusion, they will provide proper and easy way so no issue as they r professional… foreign broker like EXNESS has demo account and trading , and it is so helpful also they implemented very nicely…
Hi @Vishd Regulators & Exchanges do not permit Stock Brokers or even otherwise anyone to allow paper trading / virtual trading platforms.
We are regulated and also prefer to work on domains / verticals where there is regulatory clarity. As a result, we do not have any plans to offer this unless the regulations change in future.
Can u tell me why exchange not allowing to broker to give this paper trading option…bcz in play store there are some applications for paper trading…(But that apps not user friendly)…
Hi @Vishd Vishal, there could be many reasons for this… and my guesses would be only guesses for this and may not be the right perspective.
For example, exchanges are private companies and data generated on them is proprietary and private. The access of data is provided to members (stock brokers) for trading purpose and the end usage of same is defined by the exchanges. Practically everything a broker does (including Dhan) is approved by exchanges. So if we have to provide a paper-trading platform - we will need exchanges to approve them.
About applications that are in play-store, they may take data from some vendor of exchanges, but this will be delayed or possibly adjusted to show differently from the real one. That aside, there are concerns about data being mis-used for illegal trading like dabba trading, and likes for which exchanges and regulators possibly have taken a view to not permit the same.
