You can connect Dhan API to excel, but you will need to use either VBA or python file to do the same. We do not have sample code for the same right now, but we are working on it.

Dear Rahul,
If you are creating one then please watch this video. It would be better to create an excel (XLSM) like this one this will be super-helpful for the Traders and users can create macro as per their strategies.

I have some requests, one of which is already being fulfilled by the @Dhan team.

My next requirements are as follows:

  1. Deployment of Python algorithmic strategies to servers like AWS to automate the entire system.
  2. A comprehensive algorithmic trading tutorial using Pine Script.
  3. A multipurpose Excel tracker controlled by Python:
    • Margin/risk calculations based on capital
    • Dynamic daily updates for profit, loss, stop-loss, or trailing stop-loss in Excel via Python
    • Automatic stock selection updates in Excel based on my algorithmic strategy
