Mutual Fund AUM All-Time High : Total assets under management (AUM) surged to an all-time high of ₹67.26 lakh crore, marking a steady 0.24% growth from September’s ₹67.09 lakh crore despite a challenging equity market environment.

All-Time High Inflows: Monthly inflows hit a historic high of ₹2.40 lakh crore, bolstered by contributions across Equity, Debt, Hybrid, and Passive categories.

Expanding Retail Base: Over 60 lakh new folios were added, bringing the total to 21.65 crore, with the highest additions in equity schemes.

Types of Mutual Funds and Their Performance
Key Highlights:

Equity Funds: Attracted the highest-ever monthly inflows of ₹41,887 crore, underscoring strong domestic investor participation.
Top Gainers: Large Cap, Mid Cap, and Value/Contra categories led the growth. -
Debt Funds: Debt fund assets touched ₹16.64 lakh crore, an 11.1% increase month-on-month.
- Liquid and Overnight Funds: Together accounted for ₹1.35 lakh crore.
- Money Market Funds: Added ₹25,303 crore, reflecting a preference for short-term instruments amid rising interest rate concerns.

Hybrid Funds: Steady Growth: Total inflows amounted to ₹16,863 crore.
- Arbitrage Funds: Led with inflows of ₹7,182 crore, offering stable returns during volatility.
- Balanced Hybrid & Aggressive Hybrid Funds: Recorded inflows of ₹1,371 crore, reflecting continued demand for balanced risk-reward investments.

Passive Funds: Second-Highest Inflows: The category witnessed ₹23,428 crore in inflows, demonstrating sustained popularity.
- Golf ETF AUM grew by 11.9% to reach ₹44,545 crore, driven by safe-haven demand amid global uncertainties.
- Monthly inflows hit ₹1,962 crore, the highest in over 31 months.
SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) Insights

All-Time High Contributions: SIP inflows reached ₹25,323 crore, a 3.3% increase from September and a massive 49.6% YoY growth from October 2023.

SIP Accounts Cross 10 Crore: Nearly 25 lakh new accounts were added, reflecting increasing adoption of disciplined, long-term investment strategies.

Investor Focus: Despite equity market challenges, SIP assets remain resilient, contributing approximately 19.8% of the industry AUM.
