Dhan vs Upstox - My first hand experience

Today I tested Upstox for the first time at the recommendation of my friends and this is what i found: -

  1. Upstox has a similar tradingview chart trading features but not the additional features added by Dhan like Scalper, etc
  2. Upstox chart lags and was very slow compared to Dhan’s which allows us to easily move the chart around as much as we want without affecting the speed.

I am more confident to use Dhan as a trader. I hope Dhan remains the best for traders. Keep up the quality and let’s grow together. Cheers to Dhan team,

PS: Please bring/introduce the Special Bracket Order feature that i had requested some months back. @Dhan @PravinJ

Hi @thetribaltrader

Thanks for your kind words, all tough we try not to compare ourselves with competitors once in a while we do come posts and comparisons like these on the community or via lots of feedback emails that come our way.

We have worked extensively on charts, and continue to do so. Almost all of this tech is built in-house, including managing broadcast from exchanges; there is more to come from us when it comes to speed, efficiency and reliability.

Dhan has exchange specified orders - bracket and cover; for forever we do have which is generally called as GTT. And some more order types are in works.

Thanks for your kind words again, just makes our day bright

Thank you @PravinJ and the team. Dhan stands apart in many ways from others. The CEO, that leads the team is not only accessible by the product end users but also takes up issues personally like in addition of new features and so on. I tried to contact Kotak Neo chief to suggest new features, haven’t heard from him in the last one year. All I got is a standard support team reply that says ‘we take note of your suggestions and our team is looking into it’… I hope we will soon have the dedicated bracket order button.

With the Dhan side I totally agree that the whole team is friendly. However it doesn’t mean if someone doesn’t want to socialise that he/she is not upto the mark.

People have their own preferences and personalities. Besides Kotak is a mega organisation and replying to everyone might be a cumbersome task.

Focus on the end user experience and product. Let the management teams be on their own.
