Dhan Web is now enhanced for wide screen monitors!

Hey Everyone,

Experiences on Dhan are made up of small things put together. Now with more and more traders joining Dhan, we realised we missed on one such small thing - optimising your experience for wide-screen monitors that most traders have!

Yes, many of our traders have been sharing feedback on the same, and few from the community as well. Ofcourse, if we have your feedback - be sure that we will act on this. And yes, we did also notice this on many screens when traders have displayed their trading setups with us - with great enthusiasm! For us, yes - it is always a pleasure to see you all using the Dhan ecosystem on multiple monitors in your trading setups.

In this regard, we got an update you wanted . The Dhan web trading experience is now enhanced for widescreen monitors! This update is a part of many subtle product enhancements we periodically do for all of us who love trading with a broader view and more space to analyse our trades.

Here’s what you can look forward to with this enhancement:

More view of your Watchlists: With widescreen support, you’ll have a more comprehensive view of your watchlists. See more data points for your favourite stocks at once, helping you make better-informed decisions.

Wide Orders & Positions: Seamless Orders & Positions execution now got even better on widescreen monitors. Guess what comes here next?

Portfolio in a nutshell: Bigger space means more view of your portfolio. Now get insights of your portfolio, track multibaggers, all in a one wide view, no scrolling!

Enhanced Dashboards: Experience smoother performance, thanks to the optimised widescreen interface.

Do try the new experience for widescreen monitors, you might have to update the web app (you will get a notification for the same on your dashboard). It’s an excellent opportunity to enhance your trading setup and improve your market analysis.

Widescreen experience is now supported for Dhan Web (web.dhan.co) and TradingView console by Dhan (tv.dhan.co)

Nice, but there is something that really annoying or dont know if something that i have not been able to figure out. That is the availability of scrollbar horizontal & vertical both. I dont know how such a basic thing is so tough to find on dhan web. I have tried everything under the sun, but no luck. Firstly, i should not even have tried as no other site has this issue, only dhan web. There has to be a logical explanation to this. Can you help resolve?

It is good to see Dhan on wide screen. I suggest to increase the number of watchlist from 10 to atleast 20.

What about small screens? Why arent the different panels docked to the corners and sides. This wastes a lot of space on small laptop screens and its difficult to see both the chat and portfolio/positions. Checkout zerodha kite, everything is docked without wasting any screen real estate.

There is no need to display the stock/security name when using chart. Please remove this and let the user focus on chart.

Sir,
While appreciating all the efforts Dhan is making to improve user experience, I would like to suggest one more point for your consideration.

At present I am using both TradingView App as also I am using both web.dhan.co. as well as tv.dhan.co. If I go for auto saving mode in Dhan, the webpage continuously keeps on processing and slowing down my charts pages. And if I do not auto-save and when I try to Save my charts at one go at frequent intervals my experience is that the Dhan webpage is very slow in saving my charts and takes almost up to one minute which does not happen in Tradingview where my work is save immediately without any delay.

Nice to see dhan improving day by day! And polishing every aspect of trading. One suggestion is that can we add support for multi monitor. Like script linking across monitors with diffrent timeframe. How ever this feature is not available in tradingview web version but available in tradingview desktop app.

Yes, there’s a lot of empty space on small screen monitors, which doesn’t look good. I look forward to seeing optimizations for small screen monitors as well. @Sanjeev_Bawaskar

Adding to this, I had shared feedback. On the Laptop, there is unwanted space occupied, which makes the chart window to small. If this space can be elmininated, it would be great.

Hi @sirpian We keep optimising our platforms for speed and performance, not all updates are feature releases. We communicate the bigger ones from time to time.
