Enabling of additional segment

I was shock to find that FnO & Other segment is activated for my account without i remeber opting to active the same, ironically on dhan app & web terminal its giving me option to active it and recently i was able to trade in FnO segment as well.

I send a mail to your support team regarding the same, asking a CLARIFICATION and received a robotic response that non of additional segment is activated and steps to active them , then i mailed them again that i was able to trade on FnO stocks yesterday so kindly check again and this time another person replied that all segment is activated along with steps to deactive them.

Im unable to understand how can your support team fail to understand that :-

  1. FnO & Additional segment is activated without my permission

  2. In your App & website its not showing me option to deactivate it , rather giving option to active it.

  3. Give a detailed answer why its showing inactive on your app & website and still i can trade in all segment.

Recently i read this post, About more orders are being executed regardless of sufficient margin.
Just what is going on Dhan???

Kindly look into the matter, im fed up from receiving robotic from your support team

Hi @Satyam : When trading accounts are opened on Dhan, they are enabled for all segments and for F&O only when explicitly user enables F&O by submitting declarations and income proof that is required for that.

Your point 2 and 3 are contradicting to each other. If you would like to manage exchange segments or preferences, here is how you can do that: Now Live: Manage Your Trading Segment Preferences on Dhan

Here it shows its not active but i was able to trade in FnO segment few days back.

We checked your details. You have provided your income proof (last six months statement of your SBI bank account ending with 8023) on 29th December, 2022 at 8.19PM.

On basis of this proof, we had activated the F&O segment on the same day.

What you see on the mobile app could appear if the details are not fetched from our system momentarily. Kindly logout and check if you’re facing the same issue. We are also checking at our end.

i tried all the fixes but still im facing the same issue, kindly provide a resolution soon

Hi @Satyam , as discussed on call, you are able to see the details on your app now. Moreover, as I check from my end, you have turned off derivative trading and is currently turned off.
