Essential Feature Request for DEXT T3 – Option to Hide P&L and Funds

Hi @PravinJ sir and @Dhan ,

DEXT T3 is a powerful tool for execution, but for a professional trader, psychology is everything. Currently, the terminal lacks the ‘Eye Button’ to hide live P&L and Funds, which is essential for a focused trading environment.

Why this is crucial:

  1. Psychological Focus: Trading is 90% mental. Constant flickering of P&L creates noise. As traders, we need to focus on the ‘Chart’ and ‘Price Action,’ not the fluctuating numbers.

  2. Emotional Discipline: Keeping funds visible at all times can trigger ‘Panic’ or ‘Revenge Trading.’ A ‘Hide’ feature helps us stay disciplined and stick to our risk management.

  3. Consistency: This feature is already a part of Dhan’s App and Web platforms. Its absence on a high-end terminal like DEXT T3 is a significant gap.

In my view, adding this ‘Eye Button’ isn’t just an update, it’s a necessity. We want to focus on the strategy, not the wallet. Hoping the team considers this practical feedback and rolls out an update soon.

You can turn it off on the Settings

I’m specifically talking about the DEXT T3 terminal, not the other apps. This feature is missing on its interface

Hi @U.S Uttam, are you using DEXT in a public place?

Most users at this point have downloaded DEXT, possibly on your personal laptops / desktops.

Hi @PravinJ , thanks for the reply! To answer your question: no, I use it on my personal laptop in my private room. My request for the ‘Eye Button’ isn’t about privacy from others—it is entirely about trading psychology. I agree that hiding the numbers doesn’t magically make a trader emotionless. But, especially when a trade is actively running, watching the live profit and loss fluctuate constantly tempts us to break our own system. Hiding the running money completely removes this visual distraction. It helps us stick strictly to our predefined setups and data, rather than managing the trade out of fear or greed. Since DEXT T3 is built for serious execution, having this feature would be a great tool to help us stay disciplined. I request you to consider this perspective!
