Hi @Mohseen_Usmani sir, @PravinJ sir, @Dhan and the Dhan Team,

I’ve been closely observing the Dhan community, and it’s amazing to see how many Developer Traders and tech-savvy users are active here. Today, with the rise of AI, even traders who don’t know traditional coding are building their own indicators and tools using AI assistance.

Taking inspiration from how global platforms like TradingView encourage community-driven scripts and tools, I would love to suggest a futuristic feature for Dhan: “BuildX” – A dedicated builder playground for Dhan users.

:globe_with_meridians: What is BuildX?

BuildX would be an integrated sandbox/ecosystem within Dhan (alongside DEXT T3, Power Scalper, and ScanX) where traders can create, test, and share their own custom tools, scripts, and UI mockups.

:glowing_star: Key Pillars of BuildX:

  1. AI-Assisted Scripting (Pine Script/Python): An integrated AI assistant within BuildX where a trader can just type in plain English (e.g., “Create an alert when RSI is below 30 and MACD crossovers”), and the AI generates the precise Pine Script or Dhan API code instantly. This bridges the gap for non-coders.

  2. Custom Feature & UI Builder: Traders often have great layout designs in mind. BuildX could offer a canvas where users can create custom dashboard mockups or request features visually to show the team exactly what they need.

  3. The Dhan Marketplace / Community Script Share: A repository where creators can publish their custom indicators, strategies, or dashboard layouts. Other Dhan users can upvote, review, or directly apply them to their charts.

  4. Crowdsourced Innovation: Dhan team can see what the community is building on BuildX. If a community-built feature gets massive popularity, Dhan can officially adopt and optimize it into the main platform.

:rocket: Why this is a Win-Win:

  • For Traders: Massive customization freedom. Even if they don’t know coding, AI will help them build their trading setup.

  • For Dhan: It turns the user base from just consumers into creators. Dhan becomes the first Indian broker to leverage community-driven, AI-assisted development.

Thanks for sharing the DhanHQ API console, Mohseen! It’s a solid backend foundation for quantitative traders who code externally.

However, the vision for BuildX is fundamentally different. It moves beyond raw APIs to create an in-built, visual sandbox for the entire Dhan community. While DhanHQ caters to the 5% tech-heavy coders, BuildX is designed to empower the other 95% of retail traders through AI-assisted scripting (plain English to code), visual UI canvas mockups, and a Community Script Marketplace natively inside the terminal.

DhanHQ handles the connectivity, but BuildX builds the actual ‘Developer & Creator Ecosystem’ directly on the frontend. Would love to see Dhan bridge this gap!
