I really appreciate the integration of Dhan with TradingView — it’s smooth and powerful for chart-based trading.
I have a suggestion that I believe would significantly enhance the trading experience:
Please consider adding the “Available Margin” and “Required Margin” display directly in the order placement window on the TV.Dhan platform.
This feature would help traders:
- Quickly verify if they have sufficient funds before placing an order
- Avoid failed orders due to insufficient margin
- Make faster decisions, especially during volatile market conditions
Having real-time margin visibility in the order window would be a big convenience for active traders. I hope your team considers implementing this.

Coming to your query , we do display the margin requirement in the native Dhan order window at the time of order placement. Please find the attached screenshot for your reference.
The screenshot you ware referring to (with margin details) is actually from the “Scalper Order window” on Dhan, not from the chart-based order window on TV.Dhan
Please check it. It is placed from chart.
To make it super clear:
Scalper Order window on Dhan does show margin details (Available Margin / Required Margin)
Chart-based order window on TV.Dhan (TradingView) does not show these details — and this is what needs improvement.
Due to limitations from TradingView library, we are unable to show the margin requirements on default TradingView order window.

Thanks for your response and for clarifying that the limitation stems from the TradingView library, which prevents showing margin details on the default chart-based order window.
However, I’ve noticed that some other brokers/platforms who are also integrated with TradingView do manage to show margin-related info or custom order panels directly on the chart. This raises the question:
If they can do it, is there a possible workaround or custom implementation on your side as well?
Would love to understand if Dhan could consider a similar approach — maybe a customized order panel or a small floating widget showing margin info — even if it’s not part of the default TradingView library.
