Feature Request – Percentage-Based Entry & Exit Triggers for Basket Orders

I would like to suggest an enhancement to the Basket Orders feature that I believe would be highly useful for investors managing multiple stocks.

Currently, the Basket Trigger allows Entry and Exit conditions to be specified only using absolute price levels. While this works well for individual stocks, it becomes cumbersome when creating baskets containing multiple stocks with significantly different prices.

Proposed Enhancement

Please provide an option to set Entry and Exit triggers based on percentage (%) movement instead of only absolute prices.

For example:

  • Entry Trigger:

    • Buy whenever a stock falls 2% from its current LTP.
  • Exit Trigger:

    • After execution of the buy order, automatically calculate the purchase price and place an exit order at 2% above the executed buy price.

Practical Use Case

Suppose I create a basket of 20 fundamentally strong stocks.

Instead of manually calculating a trigger price for every stock, I should be able to simply specify:

  • Buy when any stock falls 2% from its current market price.

  • Once bought, automatically place a sell order at 2% above the executed purchase price.

This would work irrespective of whether the stock is trading at ₹100, ₹1,000 or ₹5,000.

Benefits

  • No need to manually calculate trigger prices for each stock.

  • Extremely useful for baskets containing many stocks with different price ranges.

  • Enables disciplined buy-on-dip investing.

  • Saves considerable time when creating and maintaining baskets.

  • Makes Basket Orders significantly more powerful and flexible.

This feature would be particularly valuable for investors who follow percentage-based accumulation strategies rather than fixed-price strategies.
