I am writing to follow up on a critical risk-management enhancement for Dhan’s TradingView charts (tv.dhan.co).
Currently, when placing or dragging Stop Loss (SL) and Target order lines on an active trade, the chart displays the points/price difference, but does not show the dynamic monetary amount (₹) we stand to gain or lose.
Why this is essential:
Real-time Risk Clarity: In high-speed intraday and scalping setups, calculating Points × Quantity manually adds friction and leaves room for calculation errors.
Trailing SL Precision: Seeing the exact locked-in profit or defined risk amount in ₹ while trailing an order provides immediate execution confidence.
Market Standard: Native TradingView as well as platforms like FYERS, Kotak Neo, and Lemonn already provide real-time monetary P&L tags on chart-based drag-and-drop orders.
Could you please share if this feature is currently in the product pipeline, and if so, whether there is an estimated timeline for rollout?
We currently display the P&L amount on the position line. Your suggestion to also display the P&L amount on the target and stop-loss order lines has been noted and will be considered for future enhancements.
@Vaibhav_Lad hi maybe you have understood it wrong we don’t want to display live pnl amount on the target and sl orders line we want to display the estimated profit and estimated loss amount that will occur on reaching the set target and stop loss price to be displayed to target and order lines it is currently shown when we place target and sl orders first time from the position line on chart but once it is placed the estimated profit and loss amount stops showing and it shows stp and lmt tag.
Kindly make it show estimated profit and loss amount on target and sl order lines.
Thank you for your feedback. We’ve been working on this and just released our Dext charts that shows your estimated P&L even with active target and stop-loss lines.

@Riken_Mehta I have shared an image for reference in the image you can see that the estimated amount is shown in the target and stoploss order line on tradingview charts however in dhan it is shown only when we are placing the target and stoploss for the first time and after the order is placed the estimated profit and loss amount do not show and lmt and stp tags show kindly improve this in trading view charts.
@Awnishsingh365 we told them something they built something else I don’t know where it was implemented as I wasn’t able to find it on app nor web if they implemented it on dhan dext charts than who told them to implement it on dhan dext charts as I and most of the traders use trading view and instead of trading view they implemented it somewhere else.
