I have a query regarding options strategy execution and exit handling on the Dhan platform:
If I initiate a multi-leg strategy (such as a short straddle, strangle, or iron condor) where the legs are sold together and I receive a combined premium (say ₹100), is there currently a feature or functionality that allows me to:
Track the combined premium in real-time,
Set a target profit or stop-loss based on the combined P&L (e.g., 25% gain or loss on total premium), and
Exit the entire position together (i.e., close all legs simultaneously) when the combined P&L target is hit,
without having to manually monitor and close each leg individually?
If not, is this kind of feature under consideration or on the roadmap? I believe this would be highly useful for options sellers who want to manage risk and profits more efficiently, similar to platforms that offer strategy-level exits based on net premium thresholds.
Appreciate your help and any suggestions to manage this on the current setup.

I am writing to request an enhancement to the options trading interface, specifically for the Option Chain and Basket Order features. The proposed changes would greatly improve the user experience for options traders, particularly those who execute multi-leg strategies.
Current Pain Point: The current process of building multi-leg options strategies is time-consuming as it requires adding each leg individually and then editing each order for trade type (e.g., Intraday vs. Normal) and action (Buy vs. Sell).
Proposed Enhancements: I propose integrating the following features into the options chain and basket order creation process:
- Direct Order Creation from Option Chain:
- Allow users to add multiple options contracts (e.g., calls and puts) to a temporary basket directly from the options chain view.
- A modal or side panel should appear, allowing the user to select the action (Buy/Sell) and the order type (Intraday/Normal) for each contract.
- This eliminates the need to navigate away from the options chain to add each leg and manually set parameters.
- Streamlined Basket Order Integration:
- Once the user has selected all the desired legs and their parameters in the modal, a single “Add to Basket” button should add all the orders simultaneously to the main order basket.
- The orders in the basket should already have the selected action and order type applied, ready for final review.
- This would allow users to verify the entire strategy in the basket before a single-click order placement.
Benefits of this Feature:
- Time-Saving: Reduces the time required to build and place complex multi-leg options strategies.
- Reduced Errors: Minimizes the chance of errors from manually editing each order, such as selecting the wrong order type or action.
- Enhanced User Experience: Provides a seamless and intuitive workflow for advanced options traders, similar to platforms like Upstox or StockMock.

Subject: Feature Request – One-Tap Clean Exit (Similar to Groww)
Hello Team Dhan,
I’d like to suggest a very useful feature that would significantly improve risk management and user experience on Dhan.
On Groww, when you exit a single trade, the app not only places a market order to close the position, but also automatically cancels all linked pending orders (Stop-Loss, Target, etc.) for that specific trade. This ensures there are no leftover orders that could accidentally trigger after a manual exit.
Currently on Dhan, when exiting positions (especially Super Orders), the pending SL/TP legs remain active unless cancelled manually. This adds friction and increases the risk of unintended executions.
Feature request:
Please add a “One-Tap Clean Exit” option for individual positions. When a user taps Exit on a trade, the system should:
- Place a market order to close the position immediately.
- Auto-cancel all related pending orders (SL/Target) linked to that position.
This is already implemented on Groww, and it’s extremely helpful in fast-moving markets where every second counts. Having this on Dhan will make intraday and F&O trading safer and smoother.

Downloading annexure list again and making relevant changes in code after every SEBI related change is exhausting…
Also, the csv file is bulky…api would provide a smoother experience…
