Feedback from a fan: Making Forever Orders even better

Hello Team,

I am a futures swing trader and a huge fan of the Super Order feature ever since it was launched. The integration with TradingView charts is absolutely fantastic.

However, I feel the current system has a slight gap between Super Orders and Forever Orders.

If I place a Super Order, I must define everything upfront. If I want to let a trade run and decide on targets later, I have to use a Forever Order. The issue is that Forever Orders don’t show up as drag-and-drop lines on the TradingView chart like Super Orders do. This forces me to keep a second window open just to monitor my Single/OCO orders.

I have two suggestions that would solve this:

  1. Enable “Super Order” style Target/SL lines on the chart for Forever Orders as well.

  2. Or, allow us to edit an open position to add Target/SL using the Super Order feature after execution.

I know I can use standard chart orders, but since they expire daily, they don’t work for swing trading. I assume DEXT is the engine behind both Super and Forever orders that prevents this expiry. So, integrating the visual features of Super Orders with the persistence of Forever Orders (since they share the same backend) would make our lives much better!

Thanks a ton! I’m a huge fan already!

Hi @Bashab

Thanks for letting us know you are enjoying both Super Orders & Forever Orders. We are planning something similar in the next phase of Super Order enhancements. Feedback noted, we will try to incorporate these suggestions as well.
