I recently explored Dhan’s Super Order 3-in-1 and found a few areas where improvements could enhance the user experience: @Naman

:one: Super Order Availability Post-Market
:point_right: Super Orders should be allowed after market hours. Many traders, especially those with 9-5 jobs, can’t place orders during live trading. Allowing post-market order placement would make trading more convenient.

:two: Rearrangement of Fields in Super Order
:point_right: In the Super Order form, the field arrangement is:

  • Limit Price
  • Target
  • Stoploss

:arrows_counterclockwise: Instead, it should be:

  • Limit Price
  • Stoploss
  • Target

This logical swap ensures a trader focuses on risk management first before setting a profit target.

Hope Dhan considers these modifications to further refine the Super Order experience! :rocket:

Once you cancel either the TP or SL or both, there is no option to put it back on the charts as a part of the SuperOrder. Please improve upon this aspect too.

  1. Please ensure that your instant order placement is enabled from chart settings to avoid the confirmation pop-up for order modification.

With instant order placement enabled, your order will be modified immediately without an extra confirmation pop-up.

Super order is having 2 options to place an order for the main leg. One is Market Order and other is Limit Order.

Addition of Trigger order under Super order (feature is available in Zerodha, attached a pic) will be welcome, but its validity will be only one day.

So, adding Forever order in super order tab is like cherry on the top to place an order for first leg. It will help breakout traders to place the order when price crosses certain level along with risk management of SL and Target.

I assume people would love this and this will make super order feature really super.

Let me know if this is acceptable feature.

You’ve got a valid point :white_check_mark:, and adding a Trigger Order under Super Order sounds like an exciting feature. However, from a swing trader’s perspective, this can make things overly complex and tedious :warning:.

Popular Brokers like Upstox - GTT Order and 5paisa - VTT Order offer a cleaner approach :dart:, where traders can place orders without needing an extra trigger price. Adding a trigger price to Super Order means that for every modification (SL or Target), traders will also have to adjust the trigger price, which adds unnecessary steps :no_entry: and can be frustrating for many.

Clearly shows that many traders are eagerly waiting for a refined solution that is both powerful and easy to use. A Super Order is a great idea, but keeping it simple without requiring an additional trigger price would make it far more trader-friendly :rocket:.

Pls also enable order via Index feature.

That will be great for Option Buyers. BUY, SL, TARGET via Index level will be god send.

We have collated much feedback on Super Orders from here and also via many other interactions. There is a lot we have received, think over 50+ unique suggestions… many of these are very very good and we will see those getting implemented in coming days.

Super Orders are still new, we want to ensure we look at all scenarios and make all right updates to it. It’s one of the first large features and an complex order type that we built on top of DEXT, excited for more things here.

A important suggestion,
Give a trigger price for TRAILING SL, so that Trailing SL will trigger after touching a certain level otherwise SL will work.
It will fully automated the trading.

Have you noticed this, been asking this there since long.

Live PnL on chart itself, no pulling up from drawer, no clicks.
That’s what we all are working for and should be on priority focus area.
